Phil Polakowski (left) and his older brother Jim, circa 1959. Phil was 9 years old and played for Transamerica Freight in the Ty Cobb Little League. Jim was 17 and played at South High School.

Brian Farrell played for Carmen Ave. Service Station in the Central Nassau Little League of Westbury, New York in 1958.

Wally Nutter played in the Quabbin Valley Over-30 baseball league (based in the Springfield/Holyoke area).  The photos below are circa 2006.

Below is Joe Corn. He played in an over-35 league for a team sponsored by HRI (a local company) in the State College, PA area in the early 1980s. And he still uses that same bat today!

Between 1973 and 1975, Joe Corn was stationed on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands while working for Raytheon.  “Being in the tropics, we could play ball virtually all-year-round.” he says. “I was playing for the company team, and here are photos with some of my teammates and one with me at bat. Later several of us formed a rival team, the Renegades, which won the island championship.” In the first photo, Joe is on the far left with no hat. These photos were probably from 1973.

August, 1988. Briean Jensen, playing for Paul Revere Insurance, stands on third base in the Mac-Ben Industrial League Finals against Papa Gino’s. Paul Revere won the championship in the best-of-3 series at Crompton Park in Worcester.

Joe Diconza (right) played for the 2009 Barracudas of Elmira, NY. This was at The Winter National Tournament in Cape Coral, FL. The Barracudas won the tournament.
